Friday is my favorite day of the week for many reasons – other than signaling the beginning of the weekend, I feel that Fridays invite the opportunity to take a deep breath, slow down, and tackle projects on our to-do list. Every Friday you can find a post here dedicated to a favorite family project, products I can’t live without, or memorable meals worth mentioning. This week we’re featuring my home tour from Food Network Magazine!
Over a year ago Food Network Magazine stopped my house to take a few pictures and chat for a bit. I dished about my favorite products in the kitchen and the things I can’t live without. You can read the full article here or pick up a copy of their Thanksgiving issue on newsstands now! Find all the favorites I mentioned below.
For some of those extra items not mentioned below, be sure to check out my the Faves from My Kitchen post, too!
I LOVE my roman shade above my kitchen sink! It was also super affordable (when they have a reputation for being $$$) and this Etsy shop owner was a dream to work with. I can’t recommend her shop enough!
LE CREUSET + GOLD KNOB
It’s no surprise that I love my Le Creuset pots and fully intend to pass them down to my kids. But I’m particularly smitten with the gold knobs that I’ve added to a few of my favorites – so beautiful! It also goes great with my kitchen hardware.
I found a vintage runner on ebay that brought some warmth and charm to the kitchen. If you’re not one for hunting down vintage rugs, this one looks similar and is so beautiful (and affordable!).
I love the putty color of these pendants in my kitchen and the mixed metals with the chrome hardware and brass interior.
AHEIRLOOM CUTTING BOARD
I’ve been a big fan of this Brooklyn based company for years – their handmade pieces are beautiful and it makes me so happy to see their cutting boards and cake stands scattered throughout my kitchen.
I longed for a Dualit toaster for years – they’re such a classic! I finally splurged on this beautiful toaster that we’ll have for years. Nothing beats a perfectly toasted slice of bread with butter in the morning!
GOLD HERB PLANTERS
I love growing fresh herbs on my kitchen windowsill. These gold planters are really similar to what I have!
