March is usually when I start to long for spring and I’m ready to kiss winter goodbye. We also LOVE celebrating St.Patrick’s Day! Between our Irish descent and love of green, gold, and rainbows…our family was destined to celebrate this holiday. Let’s be honest, I’m never opposed to embracing a reason to celebrate. Ollie is already looking forward to setting a leprechaun trap and I’m looking forward to surprising the kids with green milk! In addition to these silly traditions, I plan to map out a menu for the day that might even bring us some good luck!
I started making this a few years ago in place of Green Eggs + Ham and I’ve never looked back. It’s the perfect way to incorporate corned beef in an easy way!
Making homemade bread has never been so easy! This recipe is perfectly festive and easy enough for anyone to pull off. It’s also irresistible slathered in Irish Butter.
Make family dinner easy on this Irish holiday with a simple Baked Potato Board. Who doesn’t love a loaded baked potato?!
If you plan to have friends over this Pot of Gold Snack board is a real stunner! Fresh fruit in every color in the rainbow with a sweet and simple dip made of Greek yogurt and salted caramel swirled in the center. This one looks as good as it tastes!
My kids call this “rainbow salad” and we all love it paired with these amazing Pulled Pork Sandwiches. It would also be great served with roast chicken or simple sandwiches.
Any excuse to get greens in my family!! I can’t think of a better way to kick off St. Patrick’s Day than with a green smoothie. YUM!
